The family-owned vineyard has bet on the Tai (Tocai) Rosso, the native variety of the Berici Hills par excellence, to create a wine – emblem of this territory. The grape is a close relative of the French Grenache and the Spanish Garnaccia and was introduced into the Berici Hills probably through the work of the Barbarano monks, in contact with the bishops of Avignone.
Tocai Rosso is produced in the Riveselle version, a delicate wine with floral scents and a sharp scent of cherry and strawberry and notes of pepper. A wine ready for drinking but having a good structure, it is an unsurpassable companion for baccalà alla vicentina (Vicenza-style cod).
